The Center for Development of Best Practices in Health (CDBPS-H) is a research unit established in June 2008 within the Yaounde Central Hospital to promote informed decision-making by the evidence base through the support of a Global Health Leadership Award from the Canadian Global Health Research Initiative managed by the International Development Research Center - Canada. CDBPS-H is a facilitating center for the application and exchange of knowledge through the promotion of interaction between researchers and health decision-makers. This initiative should benefit researchers by collecting, synthesizing, reformatting and communicating the research evidence in an attractive and readable form for decision-makers. The CDBPS-H also aims to serve decision-makers by providing capacity building opportunities, producing summaries of evidence at the request and identifying gaps for informed decision making.
